13″ Retina MacBook Pro coming next week too?
Normal disclaimer applies – Apple rumors are fickle things. Nobody can ever be sure of what Apple’s future plans are. We generally only comment on rumors that we believe to have some merit, but always take this with a grain of salt.
AllThingsD and 9to5Mac are both reporting that sources from within Apple have revealed that Apple will be doing more than just announcing the iPad mini at next Tuesday’s Apple event – they’ll also be revealing one of the most desired potential products of the year, the 13″ MacBook Pro.
According to AllThingD’s report on the matter, the new MacBook Pro will have a Retina display with a 2560×1600 resolution. The design is said to simply be a smaller version of the 15″ Retina MacBook Pro’s thin, flash-storage based design.
AllThingsD has an exceptional accuracy rate and tends to only report on stories that they have tremendous faith in, so there may something to be said about their information.
Apple is expected to announce their October 23rd special event very soon, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated with what to expect as time grows nearer.
