Major releases of Firefox seem to be a dime a dozen these days, but for those who have yet to make the jump over to Google Chrome we’ve got a bit of good news – Mozilla has officially released Firefox 12 to the world in a blaze of glory.

New features seem to include line numbers on page source windows, the ability to bypass UAC on Windows Vista and 7 (doesn’t that seem dangerous?), and performance improvements.
