Current Blackberry phones won’t get upgrade to Blackberry 10
RIM CEO Thorsten Heins has gone on record to say that current Blackberry phones will not be getting an upgrade to the sweet new OS that is Blackberry 10, which was announced this week at Blackberry World.
While this may be bad news for recent purchasers of new Blackberry phones, it’s perfectly understandable that such a radical platform change would require new hardware, similar to when Microsoft launched Windows Phone 7 and when Palm launched WebOS.
