iOS 6 to provide global Facebook integration?
We’re normally very skeptical about Apple rumors here at Haverzine, but given CEO Tim Cook’s suggestion that we “stay tuned” for Facebook integration in Apple products, we’ll give this one a boost: according to popular tech blog TechCrunch, iOS 6 will include global Facebook integration similar to how Twitter integration is currently set up.
According to TechCrunch, iOS 6′s Facebook integration will also improve the ability for applications to use Facebook authentication, something that applications have been doing (quite poorly) for a while now.
Other details to note is the suggestion that iOS 6 has been internally codenamed “Sundance”, and that Apple currently has no plans to integrate Facebook with OS X Mountain Lion.
