Bing It On proves I really do prefer Google (but what about you?)

Microsoft has today launched a new website in their efforts to both combat Google and promote their floundering Bing search engine – it’s called “Bing It On”, a site designed around putting Google’s search results and Bing’s search results head to head, allowing users to type their own search queries over the course of five rounds with the results displayed blindly, then selecting which one they prefer.

Unfortunately, for me at least, I found that I preferred Google’s results over Bing’s 4-to-1, but Microsoft claims that the general consensus thus far is that consumers tend to prefer Bing’s results 2-to-1 on average. So go on, take the challenge and find out once and for all – do you prefer Google, or are you a Bing sort of guy?
