Bad news, iPod and iPhone owners – with the new iOS 6 update, set to be released as early as tomorrow, the default YouTube application that’s been bundled with all iPhone and iPod touch devices since the beginning of time will be going away forever. But never fear, Google is here! The company has just released its new YouTube app for iPhone and iPod touch, available now for free in the App Store.
The new app features a brand new redesigned icon, UI, and brand new features that weren’t previously available on the old YouTube app. Unfortunately an iPad optimized version will be coming “in a few months”, so iPad users will have to resort to using the YouTube.com website for now.
You can get ready for the transition and download the new YouTube app now at the source link.
