Nintendo Wii U to retail for $300, lands in stores November 18th

Sony and Mcirosoft, get ready to rumble – Nintendo’s latest and greatest home entertainment console, the Wii U, is coming – and soon.

As previously expected, Nintendo went ahead and unveiled pricing and availability details for their upcoming Wii U. The console will be priced at a slightly hefty $300 (though it’s important to remember that this is still far, far less than what other consoles – say, the PS3 – initially retailed for when they were first released), and will be released in stores on November 18th, and will come with 8GB of built in storage and come in white

There’ll also be higher end package priced at $349, and will come with a charging cradle for the gamepad, 32GB of built in storage, and will come in a fanciful black.

So sound off – are you in, fans of Nintendo and overall cladded plumbers alike, or is the price just too high to jump in head first? Let us know in the comments!
