Check out the DOJ today and you might notice something interesting, if you look closely enough – Google has, for the first time, surpassed Microsoft as the second most valuable tech company in the world in terms of market capitalization, distantly behind Apple.
What does this mean in the grand scheme of things? Not much, these numbers are constantly in states of flux. However if this were to be a sign of things to come, Microsoft better start hoping that their new product refreshes generate some serious cash, or else they could quickly start falling behind.
