Google sends out invites to October 29th special Android event, possible Nexus 7 news?
Never one to be undone, Google has just sent the press invitations to a special event on October 29th. The subject of the event is, of course, Android as the invitation says “Join us for an Android event”. Also of possible interest is the event’s tagline – “The playground is open.”
So what do you think big daddy Google will be sharing with the world on the 29th? Will it be the new Nexus “LG” phone we got our first look at the other day, or something else entirely? There has also been multiple rumors going around regarding the future of Google’s Nexus 7 tablet, including one that suggest that the Nexus 7 will be reduced to $99 in price, which would be huge against Apple’s upcoming iPad mini. Another rumor says that the Nexus 7 will be getting a 32GB model, something it desperately needed.
