Sprint becomes third carrier to carry iPad and iPad mini LTE
Sprint fans must be feeling giddy today – on top of some pretty looking new hardware, Apple has announced that Sprint will become the third carrier in the United States to carry the network equipped version of the iPad. They’ll be offering LTE for both the iPad (fourth-generation, no word if they’ll get a version of the iPad 2 – but I wouldn’t hold my breath, if the 3GS is any indication) and the iPad mini.
Monthly data pricing has yet to be revealed, but I’d wager we’ll be seeing something very competitive with AT&T and Verizon’s iPad offerings. iPad models with LTE starts at $459 for the iPad mini and $629 for the iPad (fourth-generation).
