One expensive grab bag
All //BUILD/ attendees to get 100GB SkyDrive storage and Microsoft Surface (Lumia 920, too!)
//BUILD/ kicked off in Redmond today, and Microsoft is celebrating by giving all attendees of the developer conference a brand spanking new, totally free Microsoft Surface tablet and a whopping 100GB of free SkyDrive storage to use with it.
Those who’ve been around a while may remember that Microsoft gave attendees of //BUILD/ 2011 a free Samsung Developer Tablet, which featured an early build of Windows 8 (dubbed the Developer Preview) and an Intel Core processor.
Update (2:04 PM EST on October 30th, 2012): Reports are now coming out that all //BUILD/ attendees will also be receiving a totally free Nokia Lumia 920 running the new Windows Phone 8 platform – lucky them!
