One million Google Nexus 7′s sold this month
Make no mistake, the Nexus 7 is a popular tablet. While most of the tablet market remains wrapped up by the Apple iPad, an increasingly large amount is going to various competitors; but none so much as the Nexus 7, which Asus CFO David Chang recently bragged about to the Wall Street Journal, claiming that they sold one million devices this month alone, and that they’re well on there way to a steady one million devices per month.
This is certainly good news for Asus, which has been floundering around for a while prior to this without much semblance of a hit product. The Nexus 7 is one of Google’s flagship tablet, sharing the stage with the just announced Nexus 10 by Samsung.
