Apple iOS 6 now available
If you’re the type of person who doesn’t install leaked developer builds of upcoming software on your phone, it’s time to celebrate – Apple has just officially released iOS 6 to iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad users.
The new release should be available both through iTunes and OTA on your device. Multiple new features have been added to the OS, including a redesigned Maps application with turn-by-turn GPS, panorama camera, FaceTime over 3G, new application designs and UIs, Siri availability on more devices, full screen Safari mode, and plenty more.
iOS 6 is available now for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad (third generation), and iPod touch (fourth generation) owners. It’ll also come installed with the new iPhone 5 and fifth generation iPod touch.
