Apple releases OS X 10.8 Developer Preview 4 update, OS X 10.7.5 Build 11G15
Apple has recently released two updates to their OS X operating system, specifically for developers. For developers sticking with OS X “Lion” 10.7, we’ve got OS X 10.7.5 Build 11G15. Weighing in at a hefty 937 MB (I’d guess those new Retina images are adding a few pounds here and there), 10.7.5 Build 11G15 lists the following as areas of importance:
- Graphics performance and quality
- Image & Media importing, editing or viewing
- Networking reliability & performance
On the other side of the fence, we’ve got an update for OS X “Mountain Lion” 10.8 Developer Preview 4, weighing in at an even larger 1.08 GB. Though official details about the update are scarce (Apple simply says that it is “recommended for all users of Mountain Lion Developer Preview 4), reports indicate that the update calls itself Build 12A248, and includes the newly announced “Power Nap” feature, as well as further Facebook notifications.
