Office for Mac 2011 now supports Retina displays
Microsoft has today updated their popular Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 suite, finally bringing Retina display support to the bundled applications. Prior to this update, when using Office 2011 on a Retina MacBook Pro text and images were blurry and pixelated, essentially being stretched to double their intended resolutions.
The update is free for all Office 2011 users, even those without a Retina MacBook Pro. Microsoft also made note that there are a few bug fixes and improvements here and there, specifically with Outlook – including full Mountain Lion compatibility and calendar event reminders.
The update is now available using Microsoft’s bundled Auto Updater application.
