Pulse launches HTML5 based web app

Pulse Reader running on Safari.

Pulse has always been one of my top-ten favorite applications on Android and iOS based devices, having used it for years on my Android tablets, but one of the biggest limitations to the application was that only Android and iOS users were able to enjoy it. Not anymore – Pulse has just launched it’s HTML5 based Pulse Reader application, which allows users of most modern browsers on Mac, Windows, and Linux desktop operating systems to get in on the act.

One of the most interesting parts of this, however, is Pulse’s decision to give some love to Internet Explorer users in the form of some exclusive features, namely enhanced touch and gesture support. Guess that’ll make some future ThinkPad 2 users pretty happy, huh?
