Samsung Galaxy S III: over 10 million sold
Good news for fans of Android and Samsung everywhere – Samsung’s just recently launched Galaxy S III, one of the newest flagship phones for the Android platform, has just hit over 10 million devices sold in just two months, according to Samsung president Shin Jong-kyun.
Yonhapnews Agency, which originally reported the story, has done the math and figured that this equates to about 190,000 phones sold a day. For comparison’s sake, the predecessor to this device, the Galaxy S II, sold 10 million devices in about five months.
The Samsung Galaxy S III is sold around the world in numerous variants, including as a LTE device and an HSPA+ device.
