Samsung: new Galaxy Note to be debuted soon

Though there was little love for Samsung’s most behemoth of a phone, the phone/tablet-hybrid Samsung Galaxy Note, which featured an almost outrageously large 5.3″ screen, it seems like Samsung has still got hybrid-fever: the has just confirmed to to Reuters that their upcoming “Mobile Unpacked” event, slated for August 29th in Berlin, will indeed be debuting the a new version of the phone, the Galaxy Note II.
Said to have an even larger (!) screen, the Galaxy Note II will sit alongside the Galaxy S III as Samsung’s newest line of high-end Android phones. Though there’s little information as of right now, we can imagine that we’ll be getting a rather large dose of this phone in the coming weeks.
